Biography
Soprano Christina Maria Fercher has been a company member of the Dresden State Operetta since the 2020/21 season. Before moving to the State Operetta, she had been part of the company at the Schleswig-Holstein State Theatre in Flensburg since the 2018/19 season, during which time her roles included Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Christl in Der Vogelhändler (The Bird Seller), Sarah Brown in Guys & Dolls and Lisa in Countess Maritza. In addition to being actively involved in concerts domestically and abroad, the native Austrian also played Mademoiselle Silberklang in Der Schauspieldirektor (The Impresario) in Israel, Marquarite in Der Opernball The Opera Ball) at the Plauen/Zwickau Theatre and Mi in The Land of Smiles at Solingen Theatre.
