Mezzo-soprano From the 2021/22 season, Corinna Scheurle will be a permanent member of the ensemble at the Nuremberg State Theater. Her roles at the house include debuts as Carmen and Mercédès in "Carmen" and Octavian in "Rosenkavalier". The young mezzo-soprano will also make her debut as Cherubino in “Le nozze di Figaro” at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin, conducted by Daniel Barenboim. At the Tyrolean Festival in Erl she will also play Waltraute in “Die Walküre” for the first time. The mezzo-soprano with German-Hungarian roots began her professional career after completing her master's degree at the August Everding Theater Academy in Munich with Prof. KS Christiane Iven in 2017 on the stage of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin, where she became a member of the International Op
