Biography
Anglo-Greek Lyric Soprano Danae Eleni was a winner of the 2022 Let’s Sing competition in Sofia, Bulgaria & soprano winner of the 2021 Concorso Musica Sacra in Rome, and performed as the soprano soloist for their staged productions of Handel’s Messiah in 2022 in Greece and Czechia. Last season, Danae made role debuts as Contessa Almaviva Le nozze di Figaro (Marin Drzic Theatre - Dubrovnik, Croatia); Mimì La bohème (Jerash Festival - Jordan) later reprising the role in Hala Koszyki - Warsaw, Poland. In the Summer, Danae appeared as Valencienne La Veuve Joyeuse and Annina La Traviata, whilst covering Marguerite in Gounod’s Faust for the Opera de Baugé festival in France.
