Biography
Danielle Lombardi is an American mezzo-soprano who sings a wide variety of repertoire and has been praised for her characterizations. She has sung with many prestigious companies including Opera Colorado, Opera Theater of St. Louis and Opera Steamboat. As a Young Artist at Opera Colorado, Ms. Lombardi sang Wowkle in La Fanciulla del West, covered the roles of Alisa in Lucia di Lammermoor, Hannah After in As One, and Mistress Hibbons in the world premiere of Lori Laitman’s The Scarlet Letter. As a Young Artist with Opera Steamboat, she sang Mamma Lucia and covered the role of Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana. While with Opera Theater of St. Louis, Ms. Lombardi sang the role of Lizard in the United States premiere of Unsuk Chin’s Alice in Wonderland. Recently, she has placed first in the
