Biography
David Fernández Caravaca (Córdoba, 1995) is one of the main exponents of the new generation of young Spanish conductors, having won the first edition of the Juventudes Musicales de España Orchestra Conducting Contest, held in February 2023 in Valladolid. As part of the award, he has been appointed assistant conductor of the Castilla y León Symphony Orchestra for the next two years, also working regularly with the newly created OSCyL Joven. Among his most immediate commitments are his debut with the Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra and the Cordoba Orchestra, as well as the musical direction of the opera "Peter Pan" by Richard Ayres at the Staatstheater in Mainz. In April 2022 he was admitted to the Forum Dirigieren of the German State Music Council and in the same month he was appointed
