Eleanor Greenwood

Winner of the 2023 Opera Awards in Australia, versatile soprano Eleanor Greenwood has sung in London, in the UK, in Europe, in Australia, and throughout China. A graduate of London's Royal Academy of Music Opera School, and of the Australian National University, she has performed various roles and concerts. For the Bendigo Ring Cycle Australia 2023, Eleanor was seen as Sieglinde in Die Walküre. She also sang as Third Norn in Götterdämmerung, as Ortlinde in Die Walküre for two cycles, and covered the role of Freia in Das Rheingold for all cycles. Eleanor is a graduate of London’s Royal Academy of Music Opera Studio and the Australian National University School of Music, first prize winner of the Sydney Eisteddfod Opera Scholarship competition.
