Ella Orehek-Coddington is an Australian mezzo-soprano of Maltese/Slovene/British descent. She studied a Bachelor of Music and Diploma of Language Studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music & the University of Sydney. She was awarded first class honours for her Bachelor's under the tutelage of Barry Ryan OAM. She currently studies a Master of Arts at the Royal Academy of Music under the tutelage of Catherine Wyn-Rogers and Janet Haney. While studying, she was awarded merit scholarships by the Royal Academy of Music and the Sydney Conservatorium. She was also awarded a number of prizes such as the 2022 Demant Dreikurs German Song prize, and the 2023 Wollongong Eisteddfod Aria prize. She has appeared in masterclasses with Gerald Finley and Maria Briggs.
