Beginning his career in modest roles with Austin Opera such as Amelia’s servant in Un Ballo in Maschera, Ed Mavole in Kevin Puts’s The Manchurian Candidate, and the Notary in La Fille du Regiment; Evan has matured into more demanding central roles. Evan has been seen as Luigi in Il Tabarro with Angels Vocal Art prior to his 2020 Apprenticeship with Sarasota Opera, where he covered and performed Benvolio in their Winter production of Romeo et Juliette. Moreover, Evan was heavily featured in many of Sarasota’s 2020 Winter Apprentice Concerts performing scenes from such operatic gems as A Masked Ball, I Masnadieri, La Traviata, Dejanice, and Salvator Rosa .
