Hanna Herfurtner

Hanna is a very versatile singer. She has performed at such highclass venues as the Salzburger Festspiele, Bregenzer Festspiele, Ruhrtriennale, Staatsoper München and Berlin, Opera Frankfurt and Köln. For the season 2012 she joined the ensemble of the opera Kiel. Over the years she has become more and more specialized in Baroque Opera and Contemporary Music. She sang in many world premieres such as Hans Werner Henzes opera Gisela, Pentesilea by Hauke Berheide at the Opernfestspiele München - where she jumped very last minute - and Tre Volti by Annette Schluenz at the SWR Festival in Schwetzingen. She is a winner of the first Cesti Competition in Innsbruck for baroque opera at just recently gave her debut at the Händel Festspiele in Halle where she sang one of the main parts in Händels Parn
