Helgi Reynisson

Fast-rising Swedish baritone Helgi Reynisson is rapidly gaining significant experience in lead roles with professional companies. He has appeared at the Folkoperan in Stockholm as the Ghost Child in Mark-Anthony Turnage’s Coraline and took the lead role of John Proctor in Robert Ward’s The Crucible at the Berlin Opera Academy. In the summer of 2021, Helgi joins the Schloss Rheinsberg Chamber Opera near Berlin to sing Fernando in Beethoven’s Fidelio. Helgi studied at the Royal College of Music and the Opera College in Stockholm, where his principal teacher was Erik Årman.
