About CNT in Zagreb

Croatian National Theater in Zagreb is the central performing arts institution in Croatia, with three ensembles - opera, drama and ballet.

As the central national theater, the Theater nurtures a diverse program and, along with national productions, presents productions of the classical, modern and contemporary world repertoire.

With more than twelve premieres, and over two hundred and twenty performances in a season, Croatian National Theater in Zagreb is recognized in European and international cultural circles. 
Its ensembles perform on esteemed world stages, but as well, it hosts foreign productions and artists in Zagreb. 

The Theater participates in international projects, contributes as a partner to programs financed by the European Union, and cooperates with eminent foreign cultural institutions and artists.

Croatian National Theater in Zagreb is a  member of the international Opera Europa network, the FEDORA platform and the European Theater Convention association.
