Santa Fe, United StatesSoprano Isobel Anthony, noted for her “vocal assuredness far beyond her years and a natural stage presence” (Chicago Classical Review) is a recent graduate of Northwestern University (Voice and Opera, MM), in the studio of W. Stephen Smith. This past season, highlights include singing Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) at Northwestern and covering both Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), and Iris (Semele) as a Studio Artist at Wolf Trap. In addition, Isobel was one of the soloists in the Bienen Contemporary Music Ensemble’s performance of Luciano Berio’s seminal work, Sinfonia. This past season, she sang Leona (In a Grove, Midwest premiere), Musetta (La bohéme), Diana (If I Were You, Midwest premiere), and Gianetta (L’elisir d’amore, cover, Festival Napa Valley).
