The same year, Ghena Dimitrova invited him to take part in her tribute – the gala performances of Nabucco on the stage of Sofia National Opera. Soon after, he performed at the Musikverein Golden Hall – Vienna side by side with Nicolai Ghiaurov. Next came the special prize of Jose Carreras from the Julian Gayarre Competition – Pamplona, Spain.
