Biography
Jakub Foltak – polish countertenor, studied at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. Started his career as a member of the Opera Academy in Teatr Wielki - Polish National Opera. Thanks to the mentioned Talents Development Programme, he has been working with conductors, directors, pianist-répétiteur and voice teachers including Olga Pasichnyk, Izabella Kłosińska, Ewa Podleś, Mariusz Kwiecień, Matthias Rexroth, Eytan Pessen, Lech Napierała, Maciej Pikulski, Michal Biel, Katelan Tran Terrell, Topi Lehtipuu, Hedwig Fessbender. He made his debut in 2018 in the Silesian Opera as a Ramiro in La finta giardiniera. He was heard recently in roles including Valetto (L'incoronazione di Poppea), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Eustazio (Rinaldo). He has also appeared at the Benjamin Brit
