Mexican tenor Jorge Fajardo has a bachelor’s degree in singing from the Conservatorio Nacional de Música, at present he is pursuing his master’s degree in Mexican concert music interpretation. Maestro Fajardo has played more than 17 title roles in the fields of Baroque opera, Romantic opera, operetta, zarzuela, musical comedy and concert repertoire.
He has performed in Mexico and in Israel, Germany, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Venezuela, and in Carnegie Hall in New York City.
As an actor, he has shared the stage with great actors such as Angélica Aragón, Aarón Hernán, Roberto D’Amico, Juan Ignacio Aranda and Paulina de Labra.
His merits as an actor have earned him the “Gaviota Maricela Lara” award as “Actor and Tenor Revelation.”
