Biography
Julien recently made his debut at the Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg as Death (Der Kaiser von Atlantis) conducted by Corinna Niemeyer with the Luxembourg Chamber Orchestra, at the Longborough Festival Opera as Pluto (L'Orfeo) with the ensemble La Serenissima, directed by Oliva Fuchs, and at the Metz Opera as Schaunard (Bohème) conducted by David Reiland. He has also sung Sarastro (The Magic Flute) in a production by Jean-François Sivadier, conducted by Emmanuel Olivier (Abbaye de Royaumont), and Baron Gondremark (La Vie parisienne) at the Nouveau Siècle (Lille) with the Douai orchestra. Julien also performs in concert: we recently heard him as bass soloist in Beethoven's Fantasy op. 80 conducted by Jean-Claude Casadesus with the Orchestre de Picardie (Lille Piano Festival), and in Beethoven'
