Biography
Lorenzo Russo Rainaldi is a theatre and opera designer and qualified architect, with bases in London and Rome. Born in Rome as Lorenzo Russo, he graduated with honours from Sapienza - University of Rome, School of Architecture and completed his studies with a postgraduate degree in Set and Costume Design for Opera at Verona Opera Academy, where he studied under illustrious opera directors and designers Pierluigi Pizzi and Ulisse Santicchi. He has worked for renowned opera festivals and theatres (Royal Opera House of Muscat, Teatro Romano di Verona, Teatro Greco di Siracusa, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Aldeburgh Festival of Music and the Arts, Royal National Theatre in London, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Festival International d'Art Lyrique d'Aix-en-Provence) and with internationally acclaim
