Twenty-four year-old Bass-Baritone Mats Roolvink is a member of the 2022-2023 Opera Studio at the Staatstheater Nuremberg. The Dutch-American young singer comes from a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic background and is equally versatile in Opera, Baroque, Lied, and Jazz. The 2020 Winner of the American Prize in Oratorio and Lied will be making his opera debut this November at the World Premiere of Turing, a production by Staatstheater Nuremberg. As a Masterclass Scholarship recipient, Mats has performed on the concert stages of Bayreuth Festival as well as the Opera Gala Festival of Oper Oder-Spree in Germany with the Prussian Chamber Orchestra conducted by Vinzenze Weisenberger. On the Baroque front, Mats has participated and performed in masterclasses with leading Baroque art
