Dusseldorf, GermanyBorn in 1997 in Modena, Italy, baritone Matteo Guerzé was a member of the Luciano Pavarotti Children's Choir of the Pavarotti-Freni Theatre in his hometown as a child. He is the winner of various singing competitions such as the Concorso Lirico Magda Olivero Milan, the Fausto Ricci International Singing Competition Viterbo and the Toti Dal Monte 2021 in Treviso. In 2017 he took part in a summer academy at the Opern Akademie Berlin e.V. and also trained in concert and opera singing at the Accademia Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence. In 2018 he made his debut as Peter in Humperdinck's "Hänsel und Gretel" at the Teatro Regio in Parma. He subsequently sang roles such as Guglielmo (Mozart "Così fan tutte"), Malatesta (Donizetti "Don Pasquale"), Amonasro (Verdi "Aida") and Ein Perückenmache
