Nathan Blair

Nathan Blair is quickly establishing himself as a promising conductor. He is a recipient of the 2024 Career Assistance Awards from the renowned Solti Foundation U.S. Since the 2023/24 season he is 2nd Kapellmeister with the Deutsches Nationaltheater and Staatskapelle Weimar. His upcoming duties at the Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar include the music direction of a new production of Die Zauberflöte and the Wiederaufnahmen of both My Fair Lady and Räuber Hotzenplotz. He also conducts performances of Hänsel und Gretel, La Cenerentola and La Traviata as well as other concerts with the Staatskapelle Weimar.
