The Oldenburg State Theater employs around 450 people and covers a wide artistic spectrum with its range. In the categories of opera, concert, drama, ballet, young state theatre, Low German drama and category 7, which offers space for interdisciplinary and experimental projects, there are over 30 premieres and over 25 concerts on the program every season. The Oldenburg State Theater has four venues and thus serves a wide catchment area in the north-west.
