6There are no weak links in the cast, and some of the small roles such as the Sacristan (Adrian Powter) and run-away prisoner Angelotti (Andri Björn Róbertsson) are very well characterised.

Role: DESPINA / Conductor: Oleg Caetani/ Stage director: Giorgio Ferrara-TEATRO VERDI DI TRIESTE-ITALY (...) Impertinente Despina, il soprano Capucine Daumas, è bravissima nel rendere vocalmente e scenicamente le varie situazioni, notaio, medico…, cui il personaggio è sottoposto nel libretto di Da Ponte, mentre il deus ex machina della vicenda(...) Ottima rappresentazione dunque quella cui si è assistito al Teatro Verdi, salutata da grandi applausi e da numerose chiamate al proscenio degli artisti e del direttore.
