In her most recent works, Li-Ying Wu deals with various everyday phenomena of our time. The truth will set you free is musically dedicated to the topic of ›fake news‹. Messages are »distorted, distorted, simplified and amplified – also called manipulation, propaganda, populism«. “The music will be violent, powerful, distorted and loud – at least initially – but hopefully the 'truth' will gradually emerge,” says the composer. 

Marta Gentilucci's duo Auf die Lider is based on words by the poet Elisa Biagini, which include: »a used match«, »the unstressed beat pause« or »the confused ears of the bees«. In his piece Blumentanz , Roque Rivas explores “the expansion of traditional schemes to achieve a more complex musical language by incorporating the computer”. Ancient dance forms are confronted with contemporary processing techniques, for example through »real-time sound processing through to sound synthesis and samplers«. 

For his Crossroads, Detlef Heusinger expands the ensemble sound with the theremin, which was invented about a century ago and is played as an electronic musical instrument by changing the position of the hands in relation to two electrodes. For the performance at Ultrasound Berlin, the composer expanded his work and included the space in the small broadcasting hall in the Haus des Rundfunks.
