The musical (113th) season of the Croatian National Theater in Osijek is opened in many ways by the "master of the operetta genre", Emmerich Kálmán and his Osijek audience. Two and a half years after the extremely successful "Bajadera", a story whose typically operetta drama is born of confusion and clumsily arranged, mostly love circumstances, was directed by Kérenyi Miklós Gábor, while soloists, orchestra and choir are conducted by maestro Filip Pavišić.
On November 8, a distinctive woman-fire entered the scene, of course a successful cabaret singer from Budapest, Sylva Varescu, accompanied by her fans: Edwin, Boni and Feri, who wish to stay, and she toured the United States. After many confusions, arranged marriages, hotels and ships, through universal arrogance everything of course sits in its place in the scenography of Agnes Gyarmathy, which won the Oscar for scenography in the film "Mephisto" by István Szabó, and costume design by Füzèr Ana and choreography by Gyesz.
