"Rich man without manners" - that's probably the best way to describe the American millionaire Couder. The fact that wealth has long gone to his head and that of his pretty daughter Alice is shown, among other things, by the fact that only impoverished European nobles are hired as domestic staff. However, one of them – Fredy Wehrburg – wants to aim high and no less than the hand and heart of the millionaire's daughter. European aristocratic pride and American self-confidence collide. Born in 1873, Leo Fall would have celebrated a milestone birthday in 2023. With the classic, which has been filmed four times, the musical comedy will be paying tribute to the Austrian composer, who together with Franz Lehár shaped the "silver era" of operetta, from autumn 2022.
