Let us pop the champagne corks together and experience the story of a failed costume ball, a shrewd maid, a strange prince and perhaps a jailer who is a little too cheerful. The most famous and popular operetta gushes with a musical champagne mood: In order to get revenge on his friend Eisenstein, Dr. Falcon a game of confusion at the feast of Prince Orlofsky. The most delicate mix-ups arise, Eisenstein flirts with his maid, his wife appears incognito as a Hungarian countess and drives the game forward, the lover of this wife has to spend a night in prison for Eisenstein. The fact that this is also a tenor is really troubling for the prison guard Frosch. A starting point for a lot of confusion. And in the end it shows
