Noc sylwestrowa jest klamrą domykającą minione dwanaście miesięcy i zaproszeniem w Nowy Rok. To niezwykły wieczór: moment przełomu, który jest zawsze równoznaczny z zamknięciem kreującym jednocześnie przestrzeń dla tego, co nowe. To czas na refleksję, spojrzenie za siebie, próbę wartościowania – a być może przewartościowania – zdarzeń i doświadczeń, które za nami, a jednocześnie magiczna chwila nadziei – więcej: wiary, że to, co szykuje przyszłość, będzie dla nas dobre. Że los, Opatrzność czy jakkolwiek postrzegamy siłę rządzącą tym światem, spojrzy na nas życzliwie, będzie wspierać nasze plany i dążenia, podsuwać sprzyjające okoliczności i ofiaruje ten łut szczęścia, bez którego mało spraw się udaje.

W ten specjalny wieczór dajmy się uwieść czarowi opery. Pomiędzy tym, co było, a tym, co ma nadejść, zatrzymajmy się na moment w świecie cudownie nierealnym, w którym czas płynie inaczej, a niemożliwe nie istnieje. Zachwyćmy się pięknem. Program koncertu to eklektyczna mozaika utworów składająca się głównie z największych szlagierów muzyki operowej, która wprowadzi wszystkich w nastrój magii i sylwestrowej radości w ostatnią noc 2023 roku.

The New Year’s Eve is a kind of coda to the the previous twelve months and a prelude to the next year. It is a moment of transition, a closure that allows us to move forward, an opportunity to reflect, look back, evaluate, or reevaluate, past events and experiences. It is also a magical moment of hope and anticipation. Standing on the doorstep of the new year, we are filled with faith that the fate, Providence, or however we perceive the power that governs the world, will look favourably on us, smooth the way for our plans and intentions, and grant us the good luck without which little is possible.

Spend this special night at the opera. Straddling the past and the future, let us pause for a moment in a wonderfully unreal world where time flows differently and the impossible does not exist. Let us delight in beauty. The concert’s programme is an eclectic musical mosaic consisting mainly of the greatest hits of the opera repertoire, which will put everyone in a magically joyous mood on the last night of 2023.
