Gianluigi Gelmetti stands for the new production of Rossini's «Guillaume Tell» for the first time at the podium of our orchestra, as well as director Adrian Marthaler for the first time at our house. The view of the Swiss hero of freedom, whose historical reality still gives rise to discussion, filtered through the glasses of different nations, is extremely exciting and can also provide information about how we deal with myths. With Michele Pertusi, Eva Mei, Antonino Siragusa and Alfred Muff in the main roles, vocal glamor is guaranteed.
