The troubadour premiered at the Teatro Apollo Roma in 1853, and is one of Giuseppe Verdi's most performed operas founded around the axis of love, power, revenge, family secrets and conflict.

This is a story about a civil war where two lost brothers, and sworn enemies, fight over a woman's love. It is also about a woman's love for her deceased mother and son that dominates the other person's ailments. And previous actions performed out of revenge become the fate of the main characters in this drama.

The troubadour is magnificent in his most brilliant form with arias and ensembles with glowing intensity, musical diversity and really great emotions.
