We are staging the middle part of Verdi's folk opera trilogy, The Troubadour, with an exceptional cast. The story, set in 15th-century Spain, pulls the viewer in with twists and turns that even the best series would envy. We find ourselves in the middle of a civil war, where the generals of the two opposing camps fall in love with a single woman, to death. They have no idea that they are connected by something other than love and hate. A terrible secret lies in the depths.
The beautiful costumes and scenery of the production of the Csokonai Theater all serve to accompany the characters battered by horror, madness, jealousy and love, and with the help of Verdi's brilliant, flowing music, we reach catharsis.

Kivételes szereposztással állítjuk színpadra Verdi népoperai trilógiájának középső részét, A trubadúrt. A 15. századi Spanyolhonban játszódó történet olyan fordulatokkal rántja magával a nézőt, amilyeneket a legjobb sorozatok is megirigyelnének. Egy polgárháború kellős közepén találjuk magunkat, ahol a két ellentétes tábor hadvezérei egyetlen nőbe szeretnek bele, mégpedig halálosan. Nem is sejtik, hogy a szerelmen és a gyűlöleten kívül más is összeköti őket. Rettenetes titok rejlik a mélyben.
A Csokonai Színház produkciójának gyönyörű jelmezei és díszlete mind azt szolgálják, hogy a borzalomtól, őrülettől, féltékenységtől és szerelemtől megtépázott szereplőket kísérve, Verdi zseniális, hömpölygő zenéjének segítségével eljussunk a katarzisig.
