Jordi Savall and the Concert des Nations give a program of symphonies unfinished or put aside by their authors, around Bruckner's Symphony in D minor (nicknamed “ Nulte ”).

An early work, Bruckner's Symphony in D minor (first of three symphonies in this key) was not created until 1924, around sixty years after its composition and around thirty years after the composer's death. The destinies of Schubert's “Unfinished” Symphony and Schumann's “Zwickau” Symphony were essentially the same, the first for example not having been performed until 1865 (i.e. only a few years before the composition of Bruckner's) . If it is famous today, this is still not the case for the “Zwickau”, written by Schumann in 1832, nine years before his First Symphony . Jordi Savall and the Concert des Nations perform these three works with the instruments for which they were written.
