The plot of one of the most famous comic operas is well known. The production of the Novaya Opera is a search for new meanings in a familiar story. "To go beyond the boundaries of the comedy of positions, to see a parable in an anecdote, to discover the invisible sides of Mozart's music, while preserving the psychological connections of the characters," is the main accent of the play for the director Alexei Veiro.

The idea of "theater within a theater" is emphasized by the empty space of the stage, from which the whole story is born and returns. The crazy day is over, followed by the next one, and no one knows what it will bring...

An international team is working on the performance - the director of the Novaya Opera Alexei Veiro and several directors from Germany: set designer Ulrike Jochum, costume designer Jan Mayer, lighting designers Hannes Sesemann and Hans Fründt, producer Peter Schwarz.
