In einer Bearbeitung zeigt die boxopera die Oper «Les Contes d’Hoffmann» aus der Sicht des Komponisten Jacques Offenbach, verkörpert von einem Schauspieler, der im Stück selber erscheint. «Trois femmes dans la même femmes…» fantasiert Hoffmann in seiner Erzählung des Kleinzach und thematisiert damit Schein und Sein in einer Beziehung zwischen Mann und Frau: eine Puppe, die ganz nach dem Willen des Spielers tanzt…, eine Kurtisane mit Leidenschaft und dem hohen Preis des Spiegelbildes, das Hoffmann dem Teufel verkauft…, und die Künstlerin, in die er sich echt verlieben kann…!

 

Ein sehr aktuelles Thema zwischen Realität und Traumvorstellung, in einer Welt von Social Media, und der Jagd nach «likes» im Netz geprägt, wird durch die Inszenierung witzig und tiefgründig zugleich dargestellt. Die Musik des Erfinders der Operette strotz vor französischem Charme und sprudelndem Schmiss, und bekannten Ohrwürmern, wie die Barcarole, Diamantenarie oder etwa die Kleinzach-Erzählung. Ein Werk für Liebhaber der Oper und Operette zugleich!

In an adaptation, the boxopera shows the opera “Les Contes d'Hoffmann” from the perspective of the composer Jacques Offenbach, embodied by an actor who appears in the piece himself. "Trois femmes dans la même femmes..." fantasizes Hoffmann in his story of Kleinzach and thus addresses appearance and reality in a relationship between man and woman: a doll that dances entirely according to the player's will..., a courtesan with passion and the high Price of the mirror image that Hoffmann sells to the devil... and the artist with whom he can really fall in love...!

 

A very current topic between reality and fantasy, in a world of social media and the hunt for “likes” on the Internet, is presented in a funny and profound way by the production. The music of the inventor of the operetta is full of French charm and bubbly vigor, and well-known catchy tunes such as the Barcarole, Diamantenaria or the Kleinzach story. A work for lovers of opera and operetta at the same time!
