For the second time, Heinrich Heine is the focus of a "Lied und Poetry" evening - quite rightly so, since his poems are among the most frequently set to music. After works by Mendelssohn, Brahms and Liszt, which could be heard in December 2022, pianist and curator Julius Drake, baritone Andrè Schuen and an actor will devote themselves to Robert Schumann's famous Heine cycles in this programme.

Zum zweiten Mal steht Heinrich Heine im Mittelpunkt eines „Lied und Lyrik“-Abends – mit vollem Recht, zählen seine Gedichte doch zu den meist vertonten überhaupt. Nach Werken von Mendelssohn, Brahms und Liszt, die im Dezember 2022 zu hören waren, widmen sich Pianist und Kurator Julius Drake, Bariton Andrè Schuen und ein:e Schauspieler:in in diesem Programm den berühmten Heine-Zyklen Robert Schumanns.
