“Cymbal World of Cymbals”, “Sári Hoppsza”, “Who Knows the Heart of a Woman”, “I Want to Be Happy” - these evergreen hits were first performed at the premiere of Miska Mágnás in 1916. Albert Szirmai's operettas conquered the stages of Europe one after the other after their appearance in Hungary. The author's invention and abundance of melodies went into a miracle. Critics have also written in superlatives that Petals has a unique sense of burlesque comedy, parody.

In the story, Iván Baracs wants to shame his noble friends out of revenge. He dresses his cavalry, Miska, in a tailcoat and introduces him to the company as Count Tasziló. Miska's fiancée, Marcsa, and the palm-footed sink girl will be Countess Mary…

The interesting thing about Miska Mágnás is that she is one of the rare pieces in operetta literature in which the dancer-comedian and the subrette are the main characters.
