Robin Hood
Wenn seine Eltern nerven, startet Daniel am liebsten das Computerspiel «Robin Hood». Diesmal geht dabei aber etwas schief. Plötzlich springt die Tür auf, und der Bogenschütze aus dem Mittelalter steht im Wohnzimmer der Familie Holz in Zürich. Daniels Mutter traut ihren Augen kaum und drückt so panisch auf der Computertastatur herum, dass Robin Hood wieder verschwindet. Aber plötzlich ist auch ihr Sohn Daniel weg… Dieser kommt im Sherwood-Wald wieder zu sich, wo es gerade nicht besonders friedlich zugeht: Weil König Löwenherz zu einem Kreuzzug aufgebrochen ist, hat sein bösartiger Bruder Prinz John die Macht übernommen und den Sheriff von Nottingham ausgesandt, um beim Volk die Steuern einzutreiben. Zum Glück lehnen sich Robin Hood und seine Freunde immer wieder mutig gegen die Soldaten des Sheriffs auf. Momentan ist die Situation aber besonders verzwickt, da ständig Kinder aus der Schweiz in merkwürdigen «Marken-Jeans» im SherwoodWald auftauchen. Bei einem Versuch von Robin Hood und seiner Bande, dem Sheriff die gehorteten Steuern wieder zu entwenden, werden die Kinder von dessen Soldaten gefangen genommen. Daniels Vater hat indessen festgestellt, dass das «Robin Hood»-Spiel, das er entwickelt hat, fehlerhaft ist, und erscheint nun ebenfalls im Mittelalter. Gemeinsam schmieden Vater und Sohn einen Plan, um die Kinder zu befreien. Ob im Sherwood-Wald wieder Ruhe einkehrt und ob Robin Hood am Ende von der schönen Mary-Ann den Kuss für den tapfersten Bogenschützen bekommt? Das verraten wir an dieser Stelle noch nicht. Nach Frank Schwemmers und Michael Frowins Oper Die Schatz­insel, die am Opernhaus Zürich mit grossem Erfolg uraufgeführt wurde, zeigen wir in dieser Spielzeit ihre Abenteueroper Robin Hood. Ein Erlebnis für die ganze Familie!

When his parents are annoying, Daniel likes to start the computer game «Robin Hood». But this time something goes wrong.
