Being a king is not that easy: you have to make decisions and make the right decisions for your subjects. Prince Lorenzo feels overwhelmed and runs away. In search of a hiding place for his crown, the insecure heir to the throne ends up in a sheep pasture. One of the sheep helps him. Out of gratitude, he declares the sheep his friend. The prince only wants to be able to call his friend by his name. But the sheep is simply called sheep, like everyone else in its flock. It sets out to find a name of its own. On his journey, he learns that you need a name to be allowed into the city and that names are associated with memories. But when the sheep finally earns a name, it angers all the other sheep - nobody else in the flock has a name either! In a poetic way and accompanied by baroque sounds, a search for one's own identity unfolds.

König sein ist gar nicht so leicht: Man muss Beschlüsse fassen und für seine Untertanen die richtigen Entscheidungen treffen. Der Prinz Lorenzo fühlt sich davon überfordert und haut ab. Auf der Suche nach einem Versteck für seine Krone landet der verunsicherte Thronerbe auf einer Schafweide. Eines der Schafe hilft ihm. Aus Dankbarkeit erklärt er das Schaf zu seinem Freund. Nur möchte der Prinz seinen Freund auch bei dessen Namen rufen können. Aber das Schaf heißt einfach Schaf, wie alle anderen in seiner Herde auch. Es macht sich auf den Weg, um einen eigenen Namen zu finden. Auf seiner Reise lernt es, dass man einen Namen braucht, um in die Stadt gelassen zu werden, und dass man mit Namen Erinnerungen verbindet. Aber als das Schaf sich schließlich einen Namen verdient hat, zieht es damit den Ärger aller anderen Schafe auf sich – in der Herde habe doch sonst auch keiner einen Namen! Auf poetische Art und Weise und untermalt von barocken Klängen, entfaltet sich eine Suche nach der eigenen Identität.
