A concert performance of Smetana’s opera Libuše is the main and most celebratory event for commemorations of the 200th birthday of the founder of Czech classical music. Selected soloists, the Prague Philharmonic Choir, the Czech Philharmonic, and conductor Jakub Hrůša are preparing to perform the iconic opera especially for Smetana’s birthplace.

Koncertní provedení Smetanovy opery Libuše je hlavním a nejslavnostnějším bodem připomínky dvoustého výročí narození zakladatele české klasické hudby na festivalu, který nese jeho jméno. Vybraní sólisté, Pražský filharmonický sbor, Česká filharmonie a dirigent Jakub Hrůša nastudují ikonické operní dílo speciálně pro Smetanovo rodiště.
