Skazka o care Saltane / The Tale of Tsar Saltan

One of the favorite family performances, on which several generations of young Muscovites have grown up, returns to the repertoire of the Musical Theater. Opera N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov's "The Tale of Tsar Saltan" was staged on our stage in 1997. The spectacular, full of fantasy performance was created by director Alexander Titel and artists Yuri Ustinov and Irina Akimova. The premiere was conducted by Ara Karapetyan.

Since then, The Tale of Tsar Saltan has been a bestseller for parents with children. Adults go to hear the wonderful opera soloists (even in small parts the best forces of the theater are always involved in the production), and children will have an unforgettable hand-made performance: all the characters in the kingdom of Tmutarakan and on Buyan Island - from angels, fish and cows to trees and the city itself - performers of the choir and mimams play in inventively invented costumes.
