The artists in a nutshell...
Christophe Berry, tenor:

After studying interior architecture at the Ecole Boulle, Christophe Berry studied piano and singing, then perfected his skills with Jean-Marie Siougos of the Paris Opera. He made his stage debut with the role of Gontran in Les Mousquetaires au Couvent, and Camille de Rosillon in Die lustige Witwe (The Merry Widow).

Since then, he has been a regular guest on the great French stages: the Opéra national de Bordeaux (Anna Bolena, Tristan und Isolde, Turandot, Siebel in Faust), the Opéra national de Lorraine (L'Etoile, Wozzeck, A Midsummer Night's Dream , Arturo in Lucia di Lammermoor, Gardefeu in La Vie parisienne, Brighella in Ariadne auf Naxos), the Marseille Opera (Lucia di Lammermoor, Dialogues des Carmélites, Boris Godounov, Gioconda, Laërte in Hamlet), the Paris Opera ( Rigoletto), the Festival des Chorégies d'Orange (Rigoletto and La Traviata) and the Opéra de Tours where he sang the roles of the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto, Nicias in Thaïs and the Chevalier de la Force in Dialogues des Carmélites, among others.

Other roles he has performed include Tybalt in Roméo et Juliette (operas of Tours, Lausanne, Monte-Carlo and Muscat in Oman), Camille de Rosillon (operas of Tours, Marseille and Lausanne), Gérald in Lakmé (in Cairo, at the Operas of Saint-Etienne, Lausanne and Santiago in Chile), Cassio in Otello (Opéra de Massy) and the title role of Fortunio (at the Operas of Limoges and Rennes).

It was in the title role of La Traviata that she made her debut in France: “intensely moving and Callassian”, she offers “pianissimi reminiscent of Montserrat Caballé” (Forume Opera / NNNews). He was then offered in a few seasons more than twenty roles such as the Countess, Juliette, Donna Anna, Mireille, Manon, Mimi or even more recently Liù, Norma, Madama Butterfly, Tosca... but also the solo soprano of Verdi's Requiem. Her performance "vocally and dramatically grandiose" (Der neue Merker) in the 4 heroines of the Tales of Hoffmann opens the doors to European stages. Chosen by A. Duault for a series of concerts “Maria Callas, a passion, a destiny”, she is one of the few young French sopranos to be able to take on roles with multiple vocalities.

Beyond the French stages, we find her on the stages of the Leipzig Opera, the Teatro Real in Madrid, the Lithuanian National Opera, Stara Zagora, Sofia, Lausanne... in concert at the Salle Pleyel, at the Tour Eiffel, Salle Gaveau, at the Opéra Comique, at the MCPA in Mumbai, at the Victoria Hall in Calcutta, in Moscow and on tour in Russia with Muscaetrena by T. Currentzis, at the Galas of the Garde Républicaine, at the opening of the Chorégies d'Orange live on France Télévision, in image of the day from BBC News….
