Die erste Pop-up Oper in Heidenheim Nau bens hald i über den Hermaringer Georg Elser wurde über die letzten drei Jahre zum großen Erfolg. Das Publikum kam in Scharen, die Aufführungen lockten auch im dritten Jahr TV und Radio an.
Das Format ist also perfekt für Heidenheim und zum wichtigen Bestandteil des Konzepts geworden, demzufolge Oper und Musiktheater für alle da ist. Ein neues Auftragswerk wird nun in Zusammenarbeit mit dem
Theater Aalen herausgebracht: Woyzeck nach dem Drama von Georg Büchner mit der Musik des in Heidenheim bestens bekannten Marijn Simons nach dem Libretto des Aalener Intendanten Tonio Kleinknecht wird im Rahmen der Baden-Württembergischen Theatertage am 27. Mai 2023 in Aalen uraufgeführt. 
Während des Festspielsommers wird die dreiviertelstündige Produktion im Pop-up-Format in Heidenheim mehrfach zu sehen sein.
Georg Büchner wurde nur 23 Jahre alt - sein Woyzeck aber ist (wie auch seine anderen beiden Dramen) zeitlos aktuell. Wenn das „System“ wichtiger wird als der einzelne Mensch (und das erleben wir ja gerade), hat uns dieses Stück um den Soldaten Woyzeck viel zu sagen. Sein Hauptmann, seine Geliebte Marie, sein Zusatzerwerb als medizinisches Versuchskaninchen zermürben ihn, bis er es nicht mehr aushält...

The first pop-up opera in Heidenheim Nau bens hald i about the Hermaringer Georg Elser has been a great success over the last three years. The audience came in droves, and the performances continued to attract TV and radio in the third year.
So the format is perfect for Heidenheim and has become an important part of the concept that opera and music theater is for everyone. A new commissioned work is now being released in cooperation with the Aalen Theater: Woyzeck based on the drama by Georg Büchner with music by Marijn Simons, who is well known in Heidenheim, based on the libretto by the Aalen director Tonio Kleinknecht will be performed as part of the 26th Baden-Württemberg Theater Days on September 26th May 2023 at 10 p.m. in Aalen.
During the festival summer, the 45-minute production in pop-up format can be seen several times in Heidenheim.
Georg Büchner was only 23 years old - but his Woyzeck (like his other two dramas) is timelessly topical. When the “system” becomes more important than the individual (and we are experiencing that right now), this piece about the soldier Woyzeck has a lot to say to us. His captain, his lover Marie, his additional job as a medical guinea pig wear him down until he can't take it anymore...
