Z lahkoto bosta instrumentalno razkošje Straussovih vrhuncev iz oper Intermezzo in Žena brez sence ter orkestrova virtuoznost upravičila odsotnost izvedbe solističnega nastopa, kot je to običaj v prvem delu simfoničnih koncertov. Poseben čar bo nadaljevanju večera dala harfistka Urška Križnik Zupan z izvedbo umirjenega Concertina za harfo Zvonimirja Cigliča, ki mu bo sledila čutna in zanosna Pesnitev ekstaze skladateljskega mistika Aleksandra Skrjabina.

As well as the orchestra’s virtuosity, the instrumental splendour of the highlights from Strauss’ operas Intermezzo and Die Frau ohne Schatten will easily justify the absence of a solo performer as is customary in the first part of symphonic concerts. The continuation of the evening will be given a special charm by harpist Urška Križnik Zupan with a performance of Zvonimir Ciglič’s tranquil Concertino for Harp and String Orchestra, which will be followed by the sensually rapturous The Poem of Ecstasy by composer-mystic Aleksander Scriabin.
