Ricardo Romero

Ricardo Castro was born to dance. As a young boy in Granada, he received his first training in Ballet, Classical Spanish Dance and Flamenco under the tutelage of his mother Rosario Romero. There he cemented the foundation for his distinguished accomplishments and admirable artistic career. Ricardo left Granada for Madrid and he was selected, among more 500 candidates,to join Antonio Gades’s company as dancer in the film “El Amor Brujo” by Carlos Saura. His extensive training in stylization of spanish dance school and flamenco led him to join the National Ballet of Spain after hearing at the Teatro Real, Madrid.
