Biografia
Norwegian conductor Bergmann is currently Music Director of Canada’s Calgary Philharmonic and Artistic Director & Chief Conductor of Poland’s Szczecin Philharmonic, positions he has held since the 2017/18 and 2016/17 seasons, respectively. He is also Music Director-designate of Switzerland’s Argovia Philharmonic, taking the helm of that orchestra in the 2020/21 season. Alongside his fixed positions, the 2020/21 season will see him returning to the Baltimore Symphony and the North Carolina Symphony, while he will debut with the Utah Symphony and the New Japan Philharmonic. Guest engagements in the shortened 2019/20 season led him to the symphony orchestras of Fort Worth and North Carolina.
