Adaptation and pocket version of 90 minutes of Verdi's well-known opera classic in which we follow the inner search and struggle against prejudice of trans woman Orlando/Violetta. Director Dorike van Genderen took the true story of trans woman Lili Elbe (1882 - 1931) as inspiration for her concept. This 90-minute pocket version contains all the arias from the original opera, but is performed without a choir and with an ensemble of eight musicians.
