Biography
Israeli soprano Shiri (Hershkovitz) Magar is praised for her "moving coloratura and radiant heights" by the Online Musik Magazine for her performance in the "Festival della Valle d'Itria" as La Contessa in the opera Don Chisciotte della Mancia (Paisiello). In March 2020 Shiri made her debut at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie, Liège as Lisa in a new production of La Sonnambula (Bellini) under the baton of M. Speranza Scappucci. In January 2023 she will return to Liège for a revival of that production, which performances were postponed due to the pandemic. Shiri made her debut at the Salzburger Landestheater, singing the main role of Lisetta in La gazzetta (Rossini) in March 2019.
