Biography
The Icelandic soprano Snæbjörg Gunnarsdóttir, living in Stuttgart made her debut in 2019 as Desdemona in the children's opera “Der Kleine und Otello” by Verdi and Aurélien Bello with the Berlin Philharmonic in Berlin and at the Easter festival/Osterfestspiele Baden Baden. In the summer of 2019 she performed the role of the Queen of the Night in “Die Zauberflöte” by Mozart at the Schlossfestspiele Ettlingen in Germany. In October 2019 and June 2022 she was a solo performer and a vocal coach in the project “Digging Opera I and III” performing on the main stage in Festspielhaus Baden Baden. During the Corona Pandemic, Snæbjörg Gunnarsdóttir worked as a vocal coach in “Kultur33”, music and art school in Münsingen. She received a master's degree in March 2019 from the “Operaschule” of t
