Stella Tähtinen

Finnish soprano Stella Tähtinen (1995) is currently studying in her final year at the Sibelius Academy Opera School under the tutelage of Outi Kähkönen. Prior to this Tähtinen was taught by Sarah Rhodes at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, England where she graduated from with a First Class Bachelor of Music with Honours degree in 2018. She started her singing studies at the age of 15 with Sirja Multamäki at the Turku Conservatory, where she also studied the violin for numerous years. ​ Most recently Tähtinen portrayed Suzel in a stream production of Mascagni's L'amico Fritz and Miss Wordsworth in a critically acclaimed production of Benjamin Britten's Albert Herring at the Sibelius Academy Opera. Prior to that she was heard as Fiordiligi in Mozart's Cosí fan tutte. ​
