Biography
The young Korean baritone Sung-Hwan graduated from Kyunghee University after completing a Master's degree in Performance in Advanced Performance under Hyung Kyu Kang. Also he gained his Bachelor’s at the same university and was awarded 1st Class honours. He first came to the attention when he won many competitions and awards include Grand Award in Daegu Singing Competition, Bronze Medal in Korean National Opera Competition etc, and recently he was one of the semi-finalists from The 8th Mirjam Helin International Singing Competition in 2019. These achievements had led him to various concerts, operas and recitals including, Gala Concert with Gyeonggi Philharmonic, Marcello in Puccini’s La Bohème and performed with numerous National Symphony Orchestras, And had solo recital at Kukje Art Ha
