Biography
The operatic soprano Synne Vinje has her education from the Stockholm University College of the Arts’ Opera Department / Operahögskolan, the Norwegian Academy of Music and the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. She finished her master studies with a production in Gävle Theatre in June 2022, where she performed as the title role in an excerpt of Suor Angelica by Puccini, together with Gävle Symphony Orchestra. “Synne Vinje’s Angelica is as bright as her aunt is somber and ominous, an angel in a nun’s robe who turns sorrow into love - gripping and convincing.” — GEFLE DAGBLAD, 11.06.2022 Born in Oslo and raised in Bærum, the Norwegian soprano is currently living, studying and freelancing in Stockholm.
